I urge all Canberrans to get their tickets for a great game of Rugby in the nation's capital.
When the Wallabies clashed with Italy here last year it pulled a huge crowd of 22,468 cheering the Wallabies home to a 31-8 victory.
It’s great to see the Wallabies back in Canberra to play Fiji. As well as our city’s strong following of the Brumbies, there are also around 15,000 people registered in local and southern NSW rugby competitions so tickets will sell quickly.
Hosting matches of this calibre helps raise the profile of Canberra as the nation’s sporting capital and gives visitors even more reasons to visit our city, providing a boost for local tourism operators.
For Canberrans it’s a great chance to see top quality international rugby and to show their friends and family what Canberra has to offer.
